The French lottery operator, Française des Jeux (FDJ), has declared the introduction of a fresh online poker platform, signifying its initial venture into this domain.
FDJ’s inaugural poker offering is Jackpot Sit & Go, which will be accessible through its ParionsSport en ligne mobile application, with additional games to follow. The organization stated that this new move aligns with its broader strategy to fortify its presence within the French online gaming market.
Richard Courtois, the Managing Director of FDJ Sports Betting and Poker, expressed, “We are thrilled to present our players with a new selection of games.” “They will have the opportunity to engage in casual poker games tailored for all player types utilizing the ParionsSport en ligne app.
“This action enables FDJ to finalize our proposition within the online gaming market, in accordance with our strategy centered on expansion and continuous innovation, grounded in a business model that blends performance and accountability to maintain the enjoyment of the game.”
The games will be powered by the ipoker platform, provided by gaming supplier Playtech. The company indicated its intention to broaden its poker offerings to encompass all forms of online poker sanctioned by the French regulatory body, the National Gaming Authority (Autorité Nationale des Jeux).
