The renowned news agency, The Associated Press (AP), has partnered with BetMGM as its primary provider of sports wagering information. The gaming platform’s data will now be integrated into the news organization’s content, offering insights and probabilities for AP’s coverage. This collaboration means readers can anticipate regular updates on BetMGM’s odds, appearing in articles about sports betting, pre-game analyses, and essentially any sports-related news. Given AP’s extensive reach—with an estimated 44.2 million users and 155.9 million monthly page views—this partnership holds significant weight for BetMGM. This isn’t the first instance of AP collaborating with a sports betting entity. They previously had a comparable agreement with FanDuel in 2021, which has since concluded, paving the way for BetMGM to take center stage.
Barry Bedlan, the leader of global text and business products at the Associated Press, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, remarking, “There’s a strong desire for dependable sports wagering data, and we’re excited to join forces with BetMGM to deliver our clients and subscribers precise and credible knowledge.”
This alliance follows closely on BetMGM’s recent revelation of a partnership with PlayAGS to introduce a novel slot machine game in Michigan.
