## BC.Game Obtains Fresh Regulatory Approval in Curaçao
BC.Game has secured a new authorization from the Curaçao authorities, adhering to the recently enacted “National Ordinance for Games of Chance” (LOK) regulatory structure. This structure is set to supersede the outdated “National Ordinance Offshore Games of Hazard” (NOOGH) system that Curaçao has employed for many years.
This fresh authorization marks a substantial move for BC.Game, showcasing their dedication to delivering a reliable and protected gaming environment within a strengthened regulatory landscape.
The LOK structure, which had its initial presentation in the Curaçao legislature in late February, introduces a series of modifications encompassing new conformity protocols, application procedures, charges, business prerequisites, and a single due diligence fee. These modifications are part of a broader initiative to enhance Curaçao’s standing within the online gaming industry.
Curaçao’s Minister of Finance, Javier Silvania, recognized the difficulties the island nation encounters concerning its image in the online gaming sector and emphasized the significance of the LOK structure in tackling these issues.
Weve faced unjust accusations, branded as a hub for illicit activities and financial misconduct. It’s significantly tarnished our reputation. However, LOK is determined to rectify these misconceptions.”
This digital gaming platform remains resolute. By accepting a diverse range of digital currencies, they are poised for global operations, utilizing their Curacao license as their international authorization.
Dorsey alluded to ambitious objectives: “Curacao is merely the first step. We are prepared to expand internationally, so anticipate further significant announcements shortly.”
BC.Game is already generating considerable attention, with their UK subsidiary obtaining a gaming permit (number 38898) from the highly regarded UK Gambling Commission.
